Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • ½ Cup Onion, diced
  • ½ Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 Cup Beef Stock
  • 1 Pkg. Mushroom Gravy Mix (0.75 Oz)
  • 2 Tbsp. Sour Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. Chopped Dill (optional)


Additional Items Needed:
  • Mixing Bowl
  • 8x8 Glass Dish
  • Plastic Wrap

Before:
In the mixing bowl combine the beef, onion, bread crumbs, eggs, and garlic.

Portion the meat mixture into 16 meatballs.

Place in the 8x8 glass dish and cover with plastic wrap.

Place in microwave. Enter code. Press start.

During:
When prompted to "Follow Package Instructions", remove plastic wrap.

Add beef stock and gravy packet.

Gently stir.

Place back in microwave and press start.

DO NOT RE-COVER.

After:
Gently stir in sour cream and chives.


Serves: 4
Notes:
Caution! The dish will be hot.

Use a thermometer to confirm that microwave foods have cooked to safe temperatures of greater than 165º F
