Steamed Baby Bok Choy *Vegan* *Gluten-Free*
Additional Items Needed:
- 1 Challot, chopped
- ½ Tsp. Fresh Ginger, minced
- 1 Clove Garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Mushrooms, sliced (we used shiitake)
- ½ Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- ½ Tsp. Sesame Seed Oil
- ½ Cup Soybean Sprouts
- 2 Heads Baby Bok Choy, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Stock
- 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp. Salt
- 2 Qt. Microwave-Safe Bowl
- Plastic Wrap
In the microwave-safe bowl mix the challot, garlic, ginger and vegetable oil.
Place in microwave. Enter code. Press start.
DO NOT COVER.
When prompted by the microwave to "Follow package instructions", add mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, bean sprouts, bok choy, vegetable stock, pepper and salt.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Place back in microwave and press start
Allow to rest for 1 minute.
Caution! The dish will be hot.
Use a thermometer to confirm that microwave foods have cooked to safe temperatures of greater than 160º F
