Shanghai Mini Chicken Dumplings
1 Lb. Ground Chicken
1/4 Cup Green Onion, finely diced
1/4 Cup Cilantro, chopped
½ Tbsp. Fresh Ginger, minced
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 Tsp. Sesame Oil
½ Tbsp. Hot Sauce or Sriracha
½ Cup Red Bell Pepper, finely diced
3 Eggs, beaten
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Tbsp. Salt
½ Tbsp. Black Pepper
1 Tsp. Cayenne PepperAdditional Items Needed:
- 8 or 10 Inch Microwave-Safe Plate
- Medium Mixing Bowl
In the medium mixing bowl add all ingredients and mix together until completely combined.
Take a small amount of meat mixture in your palm and form a 1.5 inch meatball.
Place nine at a time on the microwave-safe plate, trying not to touch.
Dipping sauce options include: Thai Peanut or Korean BBQ or Hoisin
Caution! The dish will be hot.
Use a thermometer to confirm that microwave foods have cooked to safe temperatures of greater than 165º F
